• A new Clean, Renewable, Energy Source called DynaCap™. • It applies a recent discovery (Giant ElectroCaloric Effect) made by Cambridge Univ. • Keywords: Energy, Electricity, Solar, Solar Roads, Electrocaloric, Thermoelectric, electrocaloric. Perovskite with temperature-dependent dielectric properties |

DynaCap™ has the potential to: • Generate electricity from clean solar energy (Not photovoltaic. Uses asphalt roads). • Store electricity in simple devices buried in our asphalt roads, streets & parking lots. • Cut CO2 emissions. DynaCap™ emits only electricity and cooler temperatures. • Reduce electricity prices below those from oil, coal and natural gas. • Extend road lifespans by 3 to 10 years by reducing temperatures extremes. • Clean and stabilize the electric grid (making plug-in electric/hybrid cars practical). • Cool sunbelt city air (reverse the “heat island”effect) by first cooling asphalt and concrete. • Fund road maintanence. Offset maintenance costs with electricity generation revenue. |

Leadership / Management • Insight Quest, Inc. led the DynaCap™program, which currently involves four university professors, Google, the US DOE, and Science Foundation of Arizona. Theory / R&D • So far, Insight Quest, Inc. has created all the theory and R&D for DynaCap™. Professors may extend it. • This includes numerous insights in physics, material science, and economics. Software • So far, this uses no special software. However, physics simulations using Python (IDLE), C++, are anticipated. Prototype Hardware • Insight Quest, Inc. has begun design and construction of DynaCap™ demonstration hardware. |

By pushing beyond the current state-of-the-art, there are these opportunities: • DynaCap™ R&D is highly synergistic with the R&D of ultracapacitors and batteries, which are critical elements needed for all-electric vehicles, laptops, cell phones, etc. Thus, DynaCap™ R&D will likely accelerate (and benefit from) the progress in all-electric vehicles, laptops, cell phones, etc. |
