PSIQ Architecture
  Simplified Model  

• Insight Quest created a sophisticated Model of the Human Neocortex (called PSIQ*)
  and developed a Windows Win32 C++ simulation of that model.

• Insight Quest created 100% of the software (from scratch).

• Insight Quest created 100% of the model development (over the past 7 years).

• Keywords: Hierarchical, Predictive, Spatio-Temporal Sequences, Invariant, Self-Organizing.
    
    * PSIQ is pronounced “psych” as in the word “psychology” and is also written as psiq_logo .


Significance of this Accomplishment
 
  Significance
• PSIQ is the world’s first successful model to learn hierarchical synchronized predictions.
  (i.e. hierarchical predictions in sync with hierarchical stimulus sequences).
 
• PSIQ is an advanced superset of Numenta’s “Hierarchical Temporal Memory (HTM)”
  ( Recently, Lockheed Martin received $4.9 Million from DARPA to use Numenta’s HTM).

• This $4.9 Million is just the “tip of the iceberg.”
